Overview

Trueline (“trueline.online”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the service and we don't sell your data to anyone.

What We Collect

  • Account information: Email address and display name when you sign up. Used for authentication and pool identification.
  • Payment information:Processed by Stripe. Trueline does not store credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Usage analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This is privacy-focused and does not use cookies for tracking. No personally identifiable information is collected.
  • Session cookies: Used for authentication (keeping you logged in). These are functional cookies required for the service to work.
  • Pool activity: Your predictions, points, and role selection within pools. Visible to other pool members.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not use tracking pixels from advertising networks.
  • We do not build advertising profiles based on your activity.
  • We do not store your betting history or wager amounts (Trueline does not accept bets).

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Database and authentication provider. Your account data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure.
  • Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel: Hosting and analytics. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
  • The Odds API: Source for sportsbook odds displayed on the site. No user data is shared with this service.

Affiliate Links

Trueline may link to licensed US sportsbooks (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM). If you click an affiliate link and sign up with a sportsbook, that sportsbook may share conversion data with Trueline (e.g., that a signup occurred). We do not receive information about your bets or account activity with those sportsbooks.

Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. EU residents have additional rights under the GDPR.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the site.
